Put Love Into Everything You Do

I was baking cookies and brownie over the weekend and really felt the phrase, “Cooking is a labor of love”. Although, I could have used a whisk to lessen the time it took to beat the sugar, eggs, or flour, it was worth it to beat it by hand. The laughs shared in the kitchen are like sounds of delicate piano keys before a wonderful song. There is so much joy in those moments in making something which can bring a smile to someone’s face. I realize more and more as I get older that success means nothing without love.

Anything in this life is meaningless without love. A genuine love towards life for the good and bad times is what makes a difference. Baking is just one of the reminders, but the smiles share with my parents on a videocall, or a call from a old friend all show me love is abundant, accepting, and everywhere. The more we appreciate life for the love that is always present rather than searching we tend to find a lot more of love and its beauty. Put love into everything you do you will find so many answers to questions and paths to people, places, and situations that you did not know were possible.
