Hurricane?

You say you feel in hurricanes, but you really care in rain drops

Maybe not even drops, but a drop

A drop in a pond of your own confusion, fears, and sadness

Toss people to the side as if they were a misplaced hair

All about that red lipstick, dresses, science, music

Dreams

Just Dreams

Of controlling everything around you

You and only you the center of attention

What is underneath?

You are Afraid

Of what people might see

And it hurts when people see it

And people tell you

Lying

Manipulation

Selfishness

That you put onto others

Blind to your own faults

Make your faults onto others

Blame people for your problems

Call people emotionally abusive

You are the definition

Toying with people’s emotion

Playing them in this game

Waiting for change

This cycle you have created

It is too hard to break

You say you feel in hurricanes, but you really destroy in tsunamis

You came, you saw, you demolished

Temporary happiness’s over

Long term joy

Long term pain

That is hard for you to overcome

You say you are the victim

You say the air you breathe is toxic

When really you’re the attacker who breathes their own toxic fumes

So numb to the smell

So numb to the cycle

So ignorant to change

You say you feel in hurricanes, but it is hard to believe.
